HDSB Secondary School Open House
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Halton District School Board will host a board-wide, interactive Open House at Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This event is designed to help students in Grades 6–10 and their families explore the full range of opportunities available across our secondary schools, including programs and pathways, academics, athletics, clubs, community and support and student life.
This year’s open house will also feature representatives from the new Oakville secondary school that will be opening in September of 2027, which will be home to the HDSB’s first regional sports program, the Academy for Athletic Performance and Excellence.
This is not just an information session. It’s a celebration of what makes HDSB vibrant and unique. With hands-on activities, student-led booths and real-time engagement, this event will be fun, inspiring and a powerful first connection for future secondary students.
To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all families, we are asking you to complete the registration form below, including a preferred attendance time slot. Parking is free but limited, and time slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Free Regional Bus Shuttles
No registration required, just hop on board! Buses run on a continuous loop all day.
First bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. and final bus will depart at 3:30p.m.
