The final decision is made the Board of Trustees which will be made in Feb 2019. The Board votes on the recommendation report that comes from the Director of Education. The information that forms the basis of Director's report comes from the Boundary Review Steering Committee (BRSC) and the work that is done with the the Boundary Review Committee (BRC). The BRSC is made up of school board staff such as myself and a number of Superintendents of Education and School Board Trustees. The BRC is made up of the members of the BRSC and school representatives (two from each school) from the impacted schools including reps from Oodenawi PS. https://www.hdsb.ca/schools/Pages/School%20Boundary%20Reviews/Current%20Boundary%20Reviews/2018OakvilleNE2ps.aspx shows the number of meetings that the BRC has attended. In these meetings, scenarios are presented, discussion occurs and other possible suggestions for new scenarios are made.
