Homestay Providers for HDSB Students in the International Student Program
The Halton District School Board is pleased to provide our students in the International Student Program (ISP) with homestay families through the
choice of any one of these three providers:
- Canada Homestay Network
- Educatius
- Silong International Education Services Corporation
Secondary students in the ISP must live with a parent on a full-time basis, or select ONE of the above homestay providers. This must be declared to and verified by the ISP office on a semester basis.

Canada Homestay Network (CHN) manages Homestay for Halton District School Board. (HDSB). In partnership with HDSB, CHN provides international students with warm and welcoming homestays and related custodianship services so they feel well supported during their program of study in Canada.

Silong International Education Services Corporation
Silong International Education (SIE) has been working with Halton District School Board (HDSB) for over 10 years to serve international students. SIE provides homestay placement, custodianship, and study permit application/renewal. Together with the caring homestay families, diligent custodians and the ISP of HDSB, SIE provides a safe, affordable, inclusive and diversified Canadian education experience. SIE aims to provide a home away from home experience to international students.
