More than 4,700 students from Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville attended Grade 12 in the Halton District School Board this year. Of all these students, many graduates are preparing to embark on a new journey at university or college in the fall.
To celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates, we’ve profiled a few of the many students from across our Board who are receiving scholarships and awards for post-secondary education this year.
Danielle Allen, graduate of M.M. Robinson HS is a recipient of a volleyball scholarship to Eastern Illinois University
“M.M. Robinson helped me develop into a hard working athlete and taught me perseverance and determination,” says Danielle.
Danielle credits the
Pathways meetings she had with guidance and gym teachers for helping her make an informed decision about post-secondary education.
Danielle intends to study psychology at Eastern Illinois University and play Division 1 volleyball. “My goal is to become a therapist for adolescents,” says Danielle.
We wish all our graduates success as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
