The 30th annual Halton Skills Competition, hosted by the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board, was held on April 2 at Craig Kielburger Secondary School (1151 Ferguson Dr, Milton).
Approximately 1,000 elementary and secondary students from both Halton boards competed in a wide range of skills. Elementary students in Grade 4-8 took part in activities such as the Technology Challenge, Green Energy Challenge, Distance Challenge, Lego Robotics, and TV/Video Production competitions.
Secondary school students competed in events such as 2D Character Animation, Architectural Technology & Design, Auto Collision Repair, Auto Painting, Auto Service Technology, Baking, and more.
