Any changes to personal information must be provided to your child’s school office.

In addition to reporting absences or late arrivals, you will be able to view the contact information on file for your child at the school as well as messages sent by the school or the HDSB through SchoolMessenger.

When a student is marked absent in the morning from school and there is no absence or late arrival reported through SchoolMessenger, the school will launch notifications using the SchoolMessenger system resulting in an email, app notification, text message or phone call (depending on your SchoolMessenger communication preferences) to inform parents/guardians of the absence. In the morning, parents/guardians will be asked to provide a reason for the absence.
