What does eLearning look like in the HDSB?
HDSB eLearning is a Regional program that students register through myBlueprint or through Student Services at their homeschool. The HDSB eLearning program offers asynchronous, fully online classes. Teachers, students and lesson resources are accessible for the duration of their eLearning courses.

- Prepare students for post-secondary
- continue to earn secondary school credits even if you are physically absent from your school for extended periods of time

HDSB eLearning Graduation Requirement Opt Out Form Information
Parents/guardians may choose to opt their student out of the mandatory eLearning courses required for graduation. Students aged 18 years of age or older, or students who are 16 or 17 years of age and have withdrawn from parental control, can also opt out of the graduation requirement. School boards must also allow for students and parents/guardians to opt back into the eLearning graduation requirement should their decision change.
