Recommended Boundaries to be presented to the Board of Trustees
Report 23035 is now available and will be presented to the Board of Trustees at the March 1, 2023 Board Meeting with the following recommendations:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Halton District School Board adjust the boundaries for Glenview Public School and Maplehurst Public School English programs as outlined in Option 11, as detailed in Report 23035, effective September 2023.
THAT the Halton District School Board permits students currently attending Grades 4 and 5 as of March 31, 2023, at Glenview Public School, who are impacted by the boundary changes to be granted a legacy exemption to finish their Grade 6 year at Glenview Public School, with transportation; and,
THAT the Halton District School Board allow new students moving into the Zones A, B, C, D, and Ea , being redirected from Glenview Public School to Maplehurst Public School, following March 31, 2023, to be given the opportunity to enrol at Maplehurst Public School immediately, with transportation.

Public Consultation
We provided both the presentation and shortlisted options for your advance review on February 1st, following the fourth BRC Meeting that took place on January 31st, 2023. Questions submited ahead and/or during the meeting through the
Livestream Question Form, were respond to inquiries during the meeting.
Submitting Feedback
The HDSB invited your feedback on the impact of each option presented. The feedback forum was available prior to the Public Information Meeting on February 1st. Feedback closed at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. Your feedback will be provided to the Boundary Review Committee in reaching consensus on what option and considerations to recommend to the Boundary Review Steering Committee.
Glenview PS and Maplehurt PS Boundary Review Study Area
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Halton District School Board direct staff to complete a boundary review for ERA 100 (Aldershot) with the objective of addressing accommodation pressures;

The Boundary Review Committee (BRC) will consist of the following members:
- A non-affected Superintendent and a non-affected Trustee will jointly chair the Boundary Review Committee
- All members of the Steering Committee (for more information see
School Boundary Administrative Procedure)
- Parent representatives from all affected communities
Principals of affected schools are not on the Committee but may be called upon to verify information as required. The BRC is mandated to examine boundary options and to provide feedback. A preferred option(s) will be developed and recommended to the Boundary Review Steering Committee.
