A Boundary Review Process was completed to establish a boundary for Milton #8 ps in southwest Milton. The new school was planned to open in the 2013/2014 school year, subject to Ministry of Education funding. In addition to setting the new school's boundary, this review aimed to develop an interim accommodation plan for the P.L. Robertson PS and Escarpment View PS school communities as they are projected to face significant accommodation pressures in the upcoming school year. In fact, P.L. Robertson PS is projected to exceed their total allowable number of portables.
Members of Milton's Supercouncil acted as representatives on the Boundary Review Committee.
Trustees selected Anne J. MacArthur as the name for the new elementary school in Milton.
